Tales from the trip

Dear Nonexistent Fans,

I did NOT expect that I would have anything to say about my trip but surprisingly, I do.

A WHOLE AWFUL LOT!!!

So listen up and if you can actually finish this post, no skimming allowed, you're awesome. So without further ado, allow me to continue!

Tale One: The Huge Fire No One Knew About

While we were driving there, I saw a bunch of smoke. Like, woooooooooow!!! That's a whole lot of smoke! Look, I've been to Northern California before and I know that they love burning stuff. But I also know that a little burn pile, and for the matter a huge burn pile, doesn't make that much smoke! At all!

Tale Two: Closed on Tuesdays

We stopped in Dunsmuir (which is pronounced Duns-meer. Don't ask about the dumb spelling) and walked around the town for a while. I kept seeing all these super cute-looking shops, but whenever I walked up to the doors, they were all CLOSED.

If this had been, like, a holiday or a weekend, I would've totally understood. But it was TUESDAY! Tuesday, people! Who the @&*! is closed on a Tuesday?!! And it didn't seem that only a few shops were closed because of an unknown nonexistent Tuesday event, it was that about 99.99% of the stores were closed!

Tale Three: It takes Half an Hour to Make Nachos

Interested? Yes? Well, I can't exactly tell you how it took that long, but it did. I decided to stop at this Mexican restaurant. I ordered nachos, and they were literally just plain cheese and chips because that's all I like. So I EXPECTED it to take two minutes or so. There were only two other people, who had already gotten their food. Well, guess what? It took THIRTY MINUTES!!!

I was like:

Because seriously! Who does that?

Anyway, if you got through my nutso post, you're great! Bye-bye now!
